[Lucifer reaches up, and touches Al's forehead. The thoughts will drain away like water from a jug, leaving behind nothing. Lucifer is incapable of sharing peace now, but he can do nothingness.
And it will probably be more restful than dreaming all night of the ocean. You know. Maybe.
At any rate, it's deeper than hypnosis, and only sleep will banish it.]
[Lucifer walks him inside, a step at a time. He finds Al's room in the dark, and just lays him down with clothes and shoes on. He's still fairly bad at stripping his own body, let alone someone else's boots.
And he waits until Al is asleep before he leaves. Just to be sure it worked.]
